Piazza della Repubblica, l’antica piazza d’armi
di Cosmopoli, dove nel 1922 fu posto il monumento ai caduti,
opera del giovane scultore Feroci, sulla destra della piazza
"la Pieve" costruzione iniziata nel 1548-49 per
volontà di Cosimo I° De Medici, oggi divenuto Duomo
di Portoferraio.

wo im Jahre 1922 das Denkmal an die Gefallenen aufgestellt
wurde, Werk des jungen Bildhauers Feroci. Rechts am Platz
"la Pieve" - Bauwerk welches im Jahre 1548/49
nach dem Willen des Cosimo I De Medici begonnen wurde, heute
der Dom von Portoferraio.
